    Description

    Solixon A-20 is our solution designed for companies and university labs. With Solixon A-20 you have the excellence of a low maintenance solar simulator based on the Lumixo-S light engine coupled with an optional high quality measurement system and software. This equipment is table top, ideal to save space.

    Solixon A-20 is a polyvalent unit, either to characterize or to age any type of solar cells.

    Thanks to our Lumixo-S light engine, the functionalities of light soaking and solar simulation are combined in one device, providing continuous and stable illumination.

    Solixon A-20 is available from Class AAA to ABB, fulfilling the most most demanding testing standards while suited to each budget.

    Solixon A-20 is certified to IEC 60904-9:2007 and 2020, ASTM E927-05 and JIS C 8912 standards.

    All our equipment are built to give easy access to the illuminating chamber. Furthermore, they come with a computer interface allowing remote control.

    Thermal Control

    Continuous solar simulation implies that a considerable amount of energy is fed to the sample under test. Lumartix' range of simulators are engineered for full thermal control of the samples. Our sample holder is equipped with a thermo electrical control system.

    Description

    Lumartix offers a complete solar testing environment based on a reliable design, cummulating over 15 years of experience. The Solixon units benefit from the same steady-state reliability while offering room temperature testing (STD 25°C) and high-end Class A spectrum for sample characterization and aging. These medium size units combine the functions of solar simulator and light soaking in one piece of equipment.

    The Solixon units are certified to IEC 60904-9:2007 and 2020, ASTM E927-05 and JIS C 8912 standards.

    The Solixon equipment from Lumartix generates a perfectly true sun-like illumination, up to Class A rating, over large areas. This unmatched feature enables accurate solar simulation independent of the type of photovoltaic material. It is perfectly suited for the characterization of present and future solar cells absorbing over of a broad range of wavelengths, such as mono and poly-silicon tandem cells, multi-junctions cells, or organic and hybrid solar cells.

    The unique features of the Lumixo light engine affords:

    Description

    Solixon A-1525 series are a complete environement for characterisation and testing of full sized photovoltaic modules. The electronic load is piloted through the IV Tracer software that offers a complete turnkey solution for the most demanding user.

    Many of our equipment are built upon customers' requirements. Our large area Solixon A-1525 unit consists of an array of Lumixo-S light engines, allowing a customer defined illuminated area.

    The Solixon A-1525 is certified to IEC 60904-9:2007 and 2020, ASTM E927-05 and JIS C 8912 standards.

    Thanks to the benefit of our Lumixo-S light engines, our light soakers and solar simulators are providing continuous and stable illumination in Class A spectral category.

    Our standard systems typically meet the Class AAA required for most testing standards.

    All our equipment are built to give easy access to the illuminating chamber. Furthermore, they come with a computer interface allowing remote control.

    The active area may be increased up to 4 x 4 m with additional engineering charge.

    Thermal Control

The sample holder accepts solar modules in any shape and thickness, even ones fitted with a junction box on the back side.

    Solixon A-1525 Units

    The Solixon A-1525 units are designed for solar simulation and light soaking. They rely on a thorough thermal engineering for maintaining the samples at 25°C to meet the Standard Testing Conditions (STC) required by IEC 60904-9. These equipments are designed to provide test conditions in the laboratory to perform tests that are normally made outdoor. Thus the weather is not anymore for our customers to perform demanding solar module testing.

    As an example of commitment, Lumartix has provided a customized Solixon A-2229 unit performing the IEC 61730-2 MST21 under 1'000 W/m2 on a 1 x 1.7m active area.

    The Solixons units are the worlds most polyvalent testing equipment for the PV industry.

    Turn-key Solution

    The computer, the solar simulator, the electronic load and the I-V measurement software is configured in our factory to ensure easy and fast on site installation.

    Electronic Load

    Coupling our solar simulator to a performant electronic load results in high quality measurements fulfilling the needs of the most demanding users.

    Our IV-System Pro is built around the well known Kepco Bob bi-polar power supply and 3 Agilent DMMs to realize high quality data acquisition on current, voltage and the reference cell. These proven instruments have all it takes to measure IV-curves (both dark and illuminated) on solar cells and modules.

    The current range is ±4A, where the voltage range is ±100V. Other ranges are available on request.

    An important parameter for solar cell metrology is the sample temperature, and a high precision class A Pt100 temperature sensor is include with this Profesionnal IV System.

    I-V Measurement Software

    To ensure adequat control of the equipment, the user-friendly IV Tracer software is provided for each I-V Measurement system. The numerous functions range from doing standard I-V curve measuremens to most advanced analysis.

    Tracer will let you define and setup a system based on different instruments to measure your IV curves. You can add multiplexers to automatically measure multiple cells by using one single measurement system, implement contact checking and measure monitoring solar cells.

    I-V Software main window

    Preset configurations are available to ensure fast setting-up of the system for different photovoltaic technologies.

    Tracer Configurator

    Before you start working with Tracer, you will have to configure your system. This is done by the Tracer Configurator. A tool that completely defines the setup you want to use. Tracer intends to support most instruments available on the market to use as an IV-curve measurement system. You can use for example a Kepco Bop bipolar power supply, add 2 Agilent 34410A DMMs to measure voltage and current, use a National Instruments DAQ card to control the Kepco Bob and get that unused Keithley 2000 DMM to measure a pt100 sensor for the solar cell temperature. This is all defined in the configurator.
